John Rodney

Born and raised in North Carolina, John Rodney is a queer country singer/songwriter with a sound that harkens back to the golden age of country music and honest lyrics that tell of the experiences of rural queer people. Inspired by artist such as Lavender Country, Townes Van Zandt, and the honky tonk heroes of old, John Rodney brings together outlaw country and queer music in a loud, proud, and defiant fashion.
